Crispin 15 Men, a New Rum Aged Cider
Crispin 15 Men, the cidery’s first ever rum barrel-aged cider, releases in early October.
Crispin 15 Men alludes to the classic tale by Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island, and is set to punctuate the taste buds with thoughts of pirates, buried treasure, and swashbuckling adventure.
The mixture of Colfax apple wine was aged in dark rum barrels, and then topped off with wildflower honey and dark candied syrup.
Crispin 15 Men is a limited small batch cider, a part of the cidery’s “Barrel Aged Limited Releases” in 22 ounce bottles beginning in October.

COLFAX, CA – Crispin is launching another “British Invasion” with Fox Barrel English Perry, a juicy, fresh, medium-bodied pear cider with a subtle citrus zing and a natural pear finish.

Fox Barrel Perry is an untraditional but authentic interpretation of pear cider-making, inspired by an uncommon cider style that originated in the British Midlands.

Crispin Introduces Cidre Blanc, a 3 Liter Box of Cider
Crispin Cider Company is introducing a new boxed cider ala Franzia style. Each box contains 3 liters of cider (the equivalent to 4 bottles of wine). The opened boxes last for about 4 weeks in the fridge. Unopened, the boxes have around a 9 month shelf life. One of the first offerings is Cidre Blanc, a 100% pressed apple juice cider with white wine yeast.

Crispin Introduces New Offerings (PR)
(Colifax, CA) — Since its launch in 2008, Crispin Cider Company has become famous for its innovative takes on 100 percent fermented, fresh-pressed apple and pear hard ciders, and for its outside-the-box thinking. But for its latest introduction, the hard cider maker is thinking inside the box —- introducing boxed hard cider from Crispin.

Rye Whiskey Aged Cider
Crispin Ciders are game changes for sure. You don’t just make ciders, you barrel aged ’em. Between Crispin/Fox Barrel I have had ciders aged in both wine and bourbon barrels. Peep this one.
Stagger Lee is a blended cider aged in rye whiskey barrels. Named for the American murder Stagger Lee Shelton, who was immortalized in various songs by the same name. Stagger died in 1912. Check out the history on Wikipedia.
