27 To 1 Odds For Stone Quingenti Lottery

The final ticket sales numbers are in for the  544 bottles of Stone/Maui/Ken Schmidt bourbon barrel aged beer.   A total fo 14, 798 tickets were sold for the lottery.  (Money goes to charity.)    That’s 27.2 in 1 odds.   That’s a 3.6% chance.  The average was around 11 tickets per person.  You have to be the person who bought the ticket, and be in person at the tap room to receive your bottle.  1 per person!

Yuengling Debuts Oktoberfest This Month

Yuengling has always has it’s roots in German brewing, as the Yuengling family came to settle in Pennsylvania from Germany.  This month, the brewery celebrates their German heritage by releasing Oktoberfest their first ‘fest’ beer.

Yuengling will be holding an Oktoberfest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania September 29th – October 2nd (Tickets), but the beer starts shipping soon.  Octoberfest is draft only in quarter and half barrels.  Yuengling describes their newest beer:

 The copper-colored Oktoberfest is described as “a medium-bodied beer with a perfect blend of roasted malts.” In other words, it’ll pair nicely with any wienerschnitzels and bratwursts you might be grilling up this summer and fall.

Style: Marzen

Availability: Draft only, all markets where Yuengling is sold

Wake Up Call Imperial Coffee Porter has a distinct and robust coffee flavor that blends harmoniously with the roasted malts. Caramel, chocolate, and black malts give this ale its dark color and overtones of caramel and a cocoa-like sweetness. Only very gently hopped, the addition of coffee shines through, providing a delicious accent to this brew.
