There are some lucky on and off premise accounts that get to go to a distillery and blend and choose their own bourbon whiskey barrel. Probably one of the easier places to get a shot at this is the Jack Daniels distillery.
The image above surfaced on Reddit, and after tracking down some info, is true. You see, someone at Sam’s Club got the option to choose a Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel. It’s Sam’s Club, so you sell in bulk right? Whiskey is no different.
For just shy of $10,000, you get around 17 cases of Jack Daniels Single Barrel, tasting notes from the distiller, and the actually barrel it was aged in. Make sure you have your Club Card handy.
