Well, this is pretty metal. Asheville, North Carolina’s Lexington Avenue Brewery (LAB) is temporarily closed down today, thanks to a metal band. Apparently, they sprayed animal blood (pigs blood to be exact) all over attendees of the show.
Beer Street Journal is told that the pig blood offers no health hazard, and restaurant/brewery employees are currently cleaning the place up and getting back to life.
You know damn well there is a new beer/beer name to be had from this.
