A fan (or fans) not happy with the recent purchase of 10 Barrel Brewing by Anheuser-Busch have created a site subtitled “Sellout and Die.”
Despite A-B’s purchases of New York’s Blue Point, and Goose Island, 10 Barrel is the only brewery currently on the selloutanddie.wordpress.com site.
The site also asks for people to voice opinions in such purchases using Twitter hashtag #SelloutandDie
10 Barrel Brewing Co.’s life was cut short at 5 years of age by a drunken stampede of Anheuser-Busch’s corporate Clydesdales. Flowers and condolences may be tagged with #SellOutandDie.
Craft beer drinkers seem to be less than thrilled when these types of transactions happen.The site? Seems a little much to us. I guess we all grieve in different ways.
