Almanac Wakatu Sour

Almanac Wakatu Sour has joined the brewery’s Farm to Barrel Series. Wakatu is a New Zealand created hop variety; a relative of the Hallertau hop.

Almanac Wakatu Sour is a single-hopped sour blonde ale, aged in wine barrels for six months. The barrel result was blended with a younger, 100% Brettanomyces fermented beer.

This blend combines the oaky, vanilla character of the barrels with tropical, pineapple and guava-likeĀ flavors created by brett, and highlights the fruity tangerine and lime aromas of Wakatu hops.

Almanac Wakatu Sour is a 375 milliliter bottle offering.
