Alesmith to Release First 12oz Bottles with San Diego Pale Ale .394 [UPDATED]

Alesmith San Diego Pale Ale

For the first time in AleSmith Brewing Company’s (San Diego, CA) history, the brewery has released 12oz bottles and 6 packs.

The beer is Alesmith San Diego .394 Pale Ale, a collaboration with the late baseball great, Tony Gwynn. The brewery and the Gwynn family are excited to unveil the packaging in conjunction with San Diego Beer Week.

The name “394” (.394) references the highest single-season batting average Gwynn set back in 1994. Ready to be released at the June 6th Padres Beerfest, San Diego Pale Ale 394 will reflect the commitment to excellence shared by the legendary Tony Gwynn and the AleSmith team.

Tony Gwynn Jr. and family will honor Mr. Tony Gwynn in the Alesmith tap room on November 16th. Only 119 packs will be available for the “pre-launch” release, with more to ship out soon after.
