Saint Arnold Starts Brewing Homefront IPA Today

Saint Arnold Homefront IPASaint Arnold Brewing Company starts brewing their edition of Homefront IPA.   The beer benefits is a part of a series ‘Hops For Heroes’ benefitting Operation Homefront.  Operation Homefront is a charity that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of U.S. service members and wounded warriors.

Today the brewery opens its doors to volunteers and veterans to help zest oranges that will go into Homefront IPA. (2,000 of them!) The beer will be aged on Louisville Slugger baseball bats.

“It has been great to see the response from the craft brewing community — every phone call has been answered with an enthusiastic offer of support,” said Brock Wagner, founder/brewer of Saint Arnold Brewing Company. “The fact that we have local veterans participating in the making of the beer makes it even more special.”

Other breweries creating recipes include Cigar City BrewingPerennial Artisanal Ales21st Amendment, Fremont Brewing, & Sly Fox.
