Some states barely have 10 breweries, while Washington State has crossed the 150 mark. Some of the more well known include Elysian, Elliot Bay, Pyramid, Snoqualmie, & more.
Even with that sheer number of breweries, the market seems to be sustaining beer sells quite well. I’ve read estimates that there are another 15 on the way. Republic Brewing just opened it’s doors in Republic, Washington. [SeattlePI]
