Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) is preparing another release of Splinter Gold. The brew is an American wild ale aged 3 years in wine barrels. The barrels are dosed with brettanomyces (a popular funky yeast). Gold has been bottled for a few months now, quietly carbonating. The brewery tells Beer Street Journal that they are gearing up for the release, dates to come soon.
