Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) will launch their Belgian-style abbey dubbel year round. The 375ml corked and caged bottles is the second year round in the series. Important to note, Jovial Belgian imperial stout with chocolate and raspberries was scraped and never released.
Fermented with Westmalle yeast to contribute hints of dark fruit (think raisin, fig, date, and prune), the flavor develops to add traces of toffee, chocolate, and subtle spices.
Troegs Jovial is being bottle conditioned as you read this. Expect to see it across the brewery’s entire distribution footprint later in September, early October.
