The Bruery Celebrates GABF Wins With Birra Basta Release

The Bruery successfully brought home a gold and two silver medals from this year’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver, CO.  Reason for celebration?  The Bruery thinks so!  Tomorrow (Friday) not only will they have a special tap list and firkin at the tasting room, but they will be debuting their newest brew, Birra Basta.

Birra Basta is a beer that was brewed with Pizzeria Basta, Boulder, CO.  The idea for this 8.5% ABV Biere de Garde ale was born over a pizza making session.  Beer and pizza?  Who could ask for more right?  Birra Basta was brewed with roasted zucchini, lemon peel, fennel seeds, and cedar chips.  Six malts (Pilsner, Munich, Six Row, Biscuit, Kiln Amber, Aromatic), two hops (Columbus, Strisselspalt), and a  Belgian house yeast also went into the brew.

ABV: 8.5%

Availablity: Draft only
