Target Will Finally Sell Liquor in Minnesota (Well, One Store)

Target Corporation will finally sell beer and wine in their home state of Minnesota this summer.

Ostego, Minnesota City Council approved an application to allow a liquor store within the Target within the city. The “license” goes into effect on July 1st. Minnesota requires stores to have separate liquor entrances and checkouts in the state.

Target currently sells beer and wine in 1,300 of the 1,800 stores it has in 37 states. [via Press Release]
