Dogfish Head Festina Peche & Founder’s Cerise Return

Two fruity offerings have returned.  Dogfish Head Festina Peche, and Founder’s Cerise.

Festine Peche is berliner weisse, brewed with peaches.  4.5% ABV

Festina Peche, since the natural peach sugars are eaten by the yeast, the fruit complexity is woven into both the aroma and the taste of the beer so there is no need to doctor it with woodruff or raspberry syrup. Just open and enjoy!

Founder’s Cerise fruit/vegetable beer chock full of cherries.  53 lbs in fact.  Harvested from Benton Harbor, Coloma, Grand Rapids and Traverse City.  The cherries are added at 5 different stages of fermentation in order to achieve a perfect balance of sour cherry and malt palette.  Cerise has a big malt bill to compliment the cherries, caramel being notable.  Cerise has a sweet, crisp mouthfeel. 6.5% ABV

Both are available in 12oz bottles, and draft.  Early summer seasonals…

Fegley’s Blueberry Belch Returns

Fegley’s Blueberry Belch has returned for the summer.  This fruit beer is brewed with copious amounts of blueberries…

Blueberry Belch is a fantastic summer session beer that pairs well with poultry and salads, as well as earthy cheeses like camembert and fontina. It goes great with our PA Dutch and German dishes here at Fegley’s Brew Works, and we admit with a smile that we find it to be a hit at brunch with egg dishes, pancakes, waffles and bacon.

With a definite aroma of blueberries, this slightly cloudy (unfiltered real fruit) ale has notes of blueberries that stand out on the initial taste with a pleasing acidity. The fruit flavor follows throughout combined with a satisfying breadiness, and its moderate carbonation brings back the great flavor again…and again…

Style: Fruit Beer (w/ blueberries)
Hops: Nugget
Malts: 2 Row, Crystal 77, Wheat
Availability: 12 oz bottles, Draft

4.2% ABV
