O’Fallon Pumpkin Pack features 4 different spins on the style

St. Louis based O’Fallon Brewery has released four different pumpkin beers ahead of fall. The new releases can be found in the brewery’s pumpkin pack.

O’Fallon Pumpkin Ale, and Imperial Pumpkin Ale already exist in the brewery’s lineup, so these new additions had to be a bit more unique. The lineup includes:

Vanilla Pumpkin – Cold-pressed Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans, added to O’Fallon Pumpkin Amber. 5.5% ABV

Jack O’Latte – Pumpkin milk stout aged on coffee beans, 6.6% ABV

Apple Cinnamon Pumpkin – Amber Ale that blends pumpkin and apple pie flavors

Peach Pumpkin – You might remember the Super Bowl show down years ago. This one is quite real. 5.2% ABV

Fans can only find Vanilla Pumpkin outside the variety pack, along with O’Fallon Pumpkin and Imperial Pumpkin.

“We use real pumpkin in our mash and whole spices to deliver layers of distinct flavors. With these new releases, we continue to explore and expand the possibilities of pumpkin beer. Once people try them, they’ll wish we brewed them all year long…”  – Brian Owens, O’Fallon Head Brewer

O’Fallon Pumpkin Packs are hitting distribution at the time of this article, available seasonally.

Red Hare Cotton Tail Orange Creamsic-ale, a beer dessert

Red Hare Cotton Tail Orange Creamsic-Ale is the next canned release by the Marietta, Georgia brewery.

The base beer being their year-round Cotton Tail Pale Ale, the Red Hare Brewing team has added orange and vanilla, with extra citrus notes coming from an addition of Zythos hops.

The result? It really does taste like an orange creamsicle. Plus a little bit of hoppy pale ale too. Our description might not do the beer justice, but believe us when we say, your nose will know when you open this can.

Orange flavors mirror the citrus notes of Zythos hops, while smooth sweet vanilla beans compliment their slight bitterness. Tastes just like a cold orange creamsicle on a hot day!

Red Hare Cotton Tail Orange Creamsic-Ale will be available in 12 ounce cans and draft as a seasonal release.

Style: Pale Ale (w/ Orange, Vanilla.)
Hops: Zythos
Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft.
Debut: August, 2016

5.5% ABV, 28 IBUs

Check this: Evil Twin Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel Aged Imperial Biscotti Break

Evil Twin Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel Aged Imperial Biscotti Break sounds a bit crazy right?  Well, it’s coming. Soon.

Evil Twin teased the upcoming release today – not revealing the whole label, but you can obviously tell what this beer is, and it’s a doozy.

The series began with Imperial Biscotti Break, an imperial stout that mimics the dessert, brewed with almond, vanilla, and coffee. Variants have also included an edition with cherries, Barrel Aged Biscotti Break, and Pappy Biscotti Break (aged in Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon barrels).

This edition finds this well loved imperial stout, aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels. (The same kind of barrel that makes Founders CBS a beer geek wet dream.)

Evil Twin Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel Aged Imperial Biscotti Break will be either a 22 ounce bottle or 16 ounce can release.

Style: Imperial Stout (w/ Vanilla Beans, Coffee, Almonds. Maple Syrup. Barrel Aged. Bourbon.)

Debut: TBA

11.5% ABV

Not Your Mom’s Apple Pie looks to join popular lineup

Not Your Mom’s Apple Pie is on deck from Small Town Brewery. Another in an expanding line of flavored beers.

Small Town made an industry splash when they released Not Your Father’s Root Beer, an alcoholic root beer. Following that release came Not Your Father’s Ginger Ale. In June, Not Your Father’s Cream Ale expanded the lineup.

Additionally, a boozier edition of Not Your Father’s Root Beer (to the tune of 10.7% alcohol by volume) started shipping nationally.

The fifth bottled offering by Small Town Craft Brewery looks to be Not Your Mom’s Apple Pie. A beer brewed with apple juice, Madagascar vanilla beans, cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor aligns a bit with the heavy selling Redd’s Apple Ale, which really pushed “apple ales” mainstream.

The is beer is as American as Mom’s apple pie. In fact we brew it with apple juice, Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, & nutmeg to bring you a crisp one of a kind dessert brew.

Not Your Mom’s Apple Pie will be a 12 ounce bottle release. The brewery has not yet announced this beer.

Style:                (w/ Vanilla Beans, Apple Juice, Nutmeg, Cinnamon)
Availability: 12oz Bottles.
Release: TBA

5.5% ABV
