New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA hits shelves year-round
New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA joins the brewery’s year-round lineup this month.
New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA features tangerine, orange peel, plus a plethora of citrusy hops, including Citra, Mandarina Bavaria, and Azacca.
“This hop profile really lends itself to that big citrusy, juicy fruit nose, so the next logical step was to riff off of that with actual Tangerine,” said Assistant Brewmaster Grady Hull. “The result is a brightly citrus, slightly bitter, and pleasantly balanced IPA.”
New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA is a draft and 12 ounce bottle offering.

Green Flash Tangerine Soul Style IPA coming in 2016
Earlier this year, Green Flash launched Soul Style IPA as a year-round IPA offering. In 2016, Green Flash Tangerine Soul Style IPA will grace the lineup.
Using a blend of the same hops as the current Soul Style IPA, plus tangerine zest, a new year rounder was born.
Enjoy a So Cal summer year-round with Tangerine Soul Style IPA. This delectable brew is one way ticket to taste bud paradise. Relax and take in the brilliant, golden-orange color and fresh aroma of effervescent tangerine and orange. Tangerine zest carries throughout, accented by bright, flowery, tropical flavors and a sweet finish. Brewed with American caramel malts and a blend of Simcoe, Citra, and Cascade hops, this is a beautiful brew to behold.

Maui Lorenzini Double IPA Released in Cans
Maui Lorenzini Double IPA releases today in cans.
The IPA is brewed with tangerine and blood orange juice and Maui cane sugar. A portion of the proceeds are donated to the Shark Research Group at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology.
Maui Lorenzini Double IPA is a limited winter seasonal. A launch party is scheduled for 6 pm today (1/2/15) at the brewery.

Spring Seasonal: Southern Tier Tangier
Southern Tier Brewing’s (Lakewood, NY) will replace their spring seasonal Eurotrash Pilz with Tangier Session India Pale Ale in 2015.
The brewery describes Tangier as a “session india pale ale” brewed with tangerine peels. Available in 12oz bottles and draft.

Beer Street Journal Video: Terrapin & Green Flash Create Tangerine Dreamsicle
The collaboration got started with Green Flash Brewing (San Diego, CA) wanting to brew a beer called Road Warrior, to honor their employees that always travel. One hiccup, Terrapin Beer Company in Athens, GA already had dibs on the name.
Green Flash made more than one financial offer for “Road Warrior.” Terrapin decided to allow Green Flash to use the name, under one condition. You’ll find out in the above Beer Street Journal video.
Green Flash’s brewmaster Chuck Silva joins Terrapin brewmaster and co-founder “Spike” Buckowski to create a different spin on an ipa. Tangerine Dreamsicle is brewed with Azacca hops (pretty new breed), and tangerine peel, along with lactose (milk sugar) to turn this beer into an orange creamsicle.
Available in Terrapin’s 12 distribution states in 22oz bombers and draft for a limited time.

Cigar City’s 5 Years for 5 Years: Packaging Team
Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) will soon be making up for five missed birthday commemorative releases with a “Five Beers” series.
Each of the brewery’s five internal departments are creating their own unique Cigar City 5 Beers for 5 Years creation each of the missed years. Expect an offering from the brewery’s packaging, cellar, brewers, tasting room, and brewery reps/marketing team.

The a new offering in the series is a “Florida Weisse Ale.” Florida, most assuredly is a reference to the tropical fruits of orange and tangerine that were used during fermentation. This release was dreamed up by The Tasting Room folks.
