Among the most prolific series in the American craft brewing lineup is New Belgium’s Lips of Faith. The series allows the brewers play, experiment, and even collaborate. Say hello to Wild Wild Dubbel. The Colorado style dubbel is brewed with schisandra, medicinal herb used to cure a variety of remedies (including thirst). This isn’t the first time you’ve seen New Belgium use the herb either. It is on shelves now in Springboard.
A Colorado version of the Belgian dubbed, Wild Wild ropes you in with clove and dark fruit aromas. Deeply rich and malty, every sip has a creamy texture true to Belgian tradition before it rides off with hints of black pepper and cinnamon from the addition of schisandra berries.

Check your shelves for the New Belgium Folly Pack. Inside you will find Springboard. The Belgian style pale ale has just been revivved for the Q1 mix packs. In addition to Springboard, you will find Fat Tire, Ranger, and Trippel. Brewed with A beer brewed and Ancient Asian herbs & berries. Schisandra, medicinal herb used to cure a variety of remedies (including thirst). Goji berries a chock full of antioxidants.
While ingredients like Gogi berries and Schisandra might sound funny, the taste leaves you smiling for more. We like to refer to this cloudy blonde with a deliciously dry finish as our ale for the seasons of last runs and fresh starts.
As mentioned earlier, you can expect a new round of seasonals from New Belgium in 2013. By the looks of it, Springboard is one of them. A beer brewed and Ancient Asian herbs & berries. Schisandra, medicinal herb used to cure a variety of remedies (including thirst). Goji berries a chock full of antioxidants. Who needs Pom Juice?
Deftly, this spring brewed venture lands on its feet. SPRINGBOARD combines oats, ancient Chinese herbs and Mt. Hood hops to maintain a balanced equilibrium for such an exhilarating ale. This cloudy blonde has a spirited threshold, and a creamy body, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.
