Westbrook Siberian Black Magic Panther Hits Shelves

This newest “gotta have it” from Westbrook Brewing in Charleston, SC is Siberian Black Magic Panther.

This imperial stout spent two full years aging in bourbon barrels. If it follows flavor suit alongside the rest of Westbrook’s barrel aged offerings, it’s worth fighting over.

This beer is as hairy as a Siberian…or as a panther. And you better believe it because It gets the black magic from sitting for two years in bourbon barrels. During those years It gathered its rage…a rage this mythical beast of an imperial stout wants to unleash on your taste buds.
Best served at 55 degrees In a tulip or snifter glass. This beer has already been aged for 2 years, don’t cellar It!

Look for Westbrook Siberian Black Magic Panther in 22oz bottles.

Style: Imperial Stout (Barrel Aged. Bourbon)
Availability: 22oz Bombers. Limited

12% ABV

Note: This may have already hit shelves in SC. GA gets bottles this week.

Chocolate & Chilies: Midnight Sun Modern Romance

Midnight Sun Brewing is celebrating chocolate as much as equality in Modern Romance.

The beer first and foremost is a chocolate ale, brewed with cocoa nibs and a series of spices, including cinnamon, maca. Heat is provided by the addition of chilies. A collaboration with Anchorage, Alaska’s Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge.

…In an exciting collaboration. Midnight Sun and Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge —a local artisan chocolatier— designed and brewed a very special dark ale that celebrates our strengths — and weaknesses sensuous chocolate, warm spice, fiery chili, provocative character and amorous mood…

Style: American Strong Ale  (w/ Chocolate, Maca, Cinnamon, Chilies)
Availability: 22oz Bombers

Evil Twin Bourbon Barrels “Jesus”

Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark/South Carolina) is exalting a beer beyond it’s mortal means. The brewery is talking about Double Barrel Jesus.

A bigger take on Evil Twin Even More Jesus, their small batch imperial stout, Double Barrel Jesus combines a big imperial stout with Muscovado Sugar and bourbon barrels. The result may be biblical indeed.

Few times in the history of craft beer it has happened that a highly praised beer rises beyond mortal stardom into a higher godly league. Usually the recipe to make such heavenly drops is thick fudge-like body, pitch black color, amazingly overwhelming aromas of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and muscovado sugar, obviously only made in limited amounts and by all means aged in barrels and blended into very unique and rare tasting version standing in front of you.

Look for Evil Twin Double Barrel Jesus in 22oz bottles.

Style: Imperial Stout (w/ Muscovado Sugar, Barrel Aged. Bourbon)
Availability: 22oz Bottles
Arrival: TBA
