Hardywood & Cigar City Collaboration: The Milkman

Joining forces for what looks like an incredible dessert beer is Hardywood Park Craft Brewery (Richmond, VA) and Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL).

The duo are creating a milk stout you won’t soon forget – The Milkman.

Hardywood/Cigar City The Milkman features chocolate malts, cocoa nibs and milk sugar (make the beer creamy and smooth), finishing at a whopping 13.5% ABV.

Hardywood proudly combines forces with Cigar City Brewing of Tampa, Florida to bring you a whole new milk stout experience, Hardywood’s Milkman Chocolate Milk Stout packs a full body and palate coating viscosity. Heaps of chocolate malts and a massive addition of gourmet cocoa nibs meld with a generous dose of milk sugar to satisfy the biggest chocolate craving. 

This boozy chocolate beer will release in 750ml bottles.

Woodchuck Introduces “Out on a Limb” Rotating 6 Pack

Woodchuck Hard Cider (Middlebury, VT) is introducing a new rotating six pack, Out on a Limb.

The package art will remain the same through the year, but the liquid will change every couple of months. The first release is Woodchuck Chocolate Raspberry, a cider infused with cacao nibs and raspberries that offset the apple notes.

“As the leading craft cider in the country we take pride in pushing the boundaries of what is being done in the category and living ‘out on a limb’,” said Woodchuck Communications Manager, Nate Formalarie. “Truly unique ciders are crafted at Woodchuck’s cidery each day.  All of these ciders are handcrafted with creative artistry.  Out on a Limb represents those that we think the world is ready for.”

Woodchuck Out on a Limb six packs will have an estimated retail price of $10.99. Look for them to launch in October, 2014.

Terrapin Moo-HooChiato Joining Coveted Series

Terrapin Beer Company’s (Athens, GA) fourth offering in their Reserve Series will be Moo-HooChiato, a chocolate espresso milk stout.

For this release, brewery co-founder Spike took a new approach on the brewery’s chocolate milk stout, Moo-Hoo. Moo-Hoo features cocoa nibs from Olive and Sinclair in Nashville, Tennessee. The nibs, along with the addition of Jittery Joe’s Coffee (the same found in W-n-B) will surely make Terrapin fans drool.

Founders Big Lushious joins Backstage Series as release #11

Founders Big Lushious, a chocolate raspberry stout, in debuts in December. This will be the 11th release in their coveted Backstage Series.

The stout is just shy of imperial status at 7.8% ABV, “kissed” with a touch of tart raspberries and chocolate. The brewery wanted to finish the year was a decadent dessert style offering to share with family and friends.

“We thought Big Lushious would make a great release for the holidays,” said Co-Founder and Vice President of Brand & Education Dave Engbers. “It’s a luxurious beer for us. It’s meant for bringing to parties and is perfect for sharing with friends and family after a feast.”

Founders Big Lushious will debut in 750ml bottles, for a suggested retail price of $16.99. Expect Big Lushious in stores around December 1st, as it wraps up the series for 2014.

He runs the chocolate game in this city, and when it comes to all the haters he shows no pity. With his fine, foxy ladies sitting pretty in a tricked out 73 Cadillac SeVille, he’s down with the double chocolate oatmeal scene and keeping it real. So, if you crave satisfaction, Dick Silky is the man who’s got that action!
