Epic Adds to Exponential Series
The newest forthcoming addition to Epic Brewing’s Exponential Series will be Brainless on Raspberries. Much like the rest of the Brainless portion of the series, the base of this beer is their award-winning Brainless Belgian golden ale and then raspberries will be added with the final product aged in wine barrels.
So far the other two in the series, Braineless on Cherries and Brainless on Peaches, have a wonderfully fruity and tart finish so expect the same with this batch. Only a few thousand bottles of these beers are released so grab a few when you see them!

Troegs Drops Scratch #84 & #85 on 12/20
The end of the world is coming and Tröegs Brewing Company will be celebrating with a dual Scratch release on December 20th. The first will be Scratch #84 Belgian Pale Ale dry hopped with Amarillo and Mt. Hood hops. The second will be Scratch #85 Cocoa Porter brewed with 3lbs of cocoa powder per barrel. Both beers will be available starting at 11am draft only (sorry out of towners) but will be available for growler fills.
“The Scratch Beer series has developed into an experimental beer series where we can tinker with new techniques and brew with non-traditional ingredients. Each batch is extremely small and cases and growler fills are only available in our tasting room.”

Allagash House Beer Available Only At Their House (Brewery)
Allagash is creating a new Belgian-style pale ale dubbed House Beer. A simple, fairly low abv beer (4.5%) easy drinker to compliment food. Much like a table wine. The beer will be available on at the brewery only.

New Artwork: Gnomegang
New artwork is in the works for the Brewery Ommegang/ Brasserie D’ Achouffe collaboration Gnomegang. The beer is a Belgian pale ale, brewed with yeasts from both breweries. Gnomegang found taps nationwide in early June for Gnome Week. Look for the artwork on Ommegang bottles in the future.
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Green Flash’s Rayon Vert Hits 22oz Bottles
Green Flash Brewing launched Rayon Vert in March in 12 oz bottles. The Belgian pale ale is bottled with brettanomyces yeast (an infamous flavor changing yeast) and has been a big hit. Now, Green Flash is giving the beer some bomber treatment.
If Green Flash were founded in historical Belgium, Rayon Vert would have been our flagship brew. A bold layering of hops finds balance from traditional malts. Bottle conditioning with fresh ale yeast and Brettanomyces finishes the beer, adding a delightful effervescence, dryness and continuously evolving character. Rayon Vert is Green Flash.
