It finally happened. Sunday Sales passed in Georgia. The people have spoken. Beer lovers rejoice. (Ok fine, and wine lovers, and liquor peeps too.) It past nearly everywhere it was on the ballot. Forest Park is the only only place it didn’t pass. In Atlanta, it was 4-1 in favor of sunday sales. It was reported earlier, and prematurely- that it failed in Villa Rica, GA. New numbers show the referendum passing.
That leaves 2 states with a full ban on sunday sales. Now that the referendum has passed, its up to the cities when to allow the sales on Sunday to start. (Still looking for info on this…)
