Summit Plans $6 Million Expansion

Summit Brewing Co. will be spending  $6 million to expand total capacity at its St. Paul based brewery.   The expansion will entail a new building to house fermentation & packaging space.   The brewery currently has capacity to brew 105,00o barrels a year. (3,255,000 gallons.)

Summit is sold in 15 states, with 90% of the sales coming from within they’re home of Minnesota.  They will break ground on the expansion in 2013.  In addition to capacity, the workforce will increase by 20%.
