Stone Brewing just seems to have a European itch. On Monday Stone Brewing sent Brewmaster Mitch Steele to England to Wadworth’s historic Northgate Brewery in Wiltshire where he will be brewing a collaboration beer. Stone and Wadworth’s collaboration will be served during the 2 ½ week long Real Ale & Cider Festival at the 800 chain Wetherspoon’s & Lloyd’s #1.
The beer? A Stone-style Wadworth beer. San Diego Session Ale gets a little European hop treatment.
Hops: Centennial, Columbus, Amarillo, Delta, and Calypso
Malt: English Malts — pale malt with 5% each of crystal and Munich
Yeast: Wadworth’s house yeast strain, traditional English variety
Availability: October 5th at Wetherspoon’s Festival
