Stone Brewing Co. asked their fans to vote on what beer they wanted to see brewed (or re-brewed.) A victor has been chosen – Stone Smoked Porter w/ Vanilla Beans.
This brew apparently came out way ahead of the competition. It was released alongside a second edition – Smoked Porter with chipotle peppers. Expect the vanilla bean version to be released again in December, 2013.
Close second to the Smoked Porter with vanilla beans included Aleman/Two Brothers/Stone Dayman Coffee IPA, Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA, Baird/Ishi/Stone Japanese Green Team IPA.
Not gonna lie, I’m disappointed. I was really, really hoping the 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA would win! That beer was amazing.
