Sierra Nevada will be revisiting a beer released in their “Ovila” series in 2012. Dubbel – the first, and very popular release will re-appear again in 4 packs.
The Ovila series is the first of new explorations by Sierra in their 30th year. It’s a series of Trappist collaborations the monks of New Clairvaux in California.

Clear and deep copper in color, this Abbey Dubbel has a complex and rich malty sweetness with hints of caramelized sugar. The aroma is a heady and layered mix of fruit and spice with hints of clove, raisin, and black pepper from the use of abbey —style yeast.

The new 4-packs will feature a new package size for Sierra – 375 ml bottles. The brewery is still working on suppliers, etc.
