Summer is hanging on literally by hours. This update is a couple of days behind, but as fall creeps in Abita’s Pecan Harvest arrives. Pecan Harvest is part of the Abita Springs, Louisiana breweries’s Harvest series – alongside Strawberry Lager, and Satsuma Wit.

Pecan Harvest Ale is made with real Louisiana pecans that have been toasted to perfection. That makes it something really special, because most beers with a nutty flavor or aroma aren’t made with real nuts. The natural oils from the Louisiana pecans give the ale a light pecan finish and aroma.
Style: American Brown Ale
Taste Expectations: This beer is brewed with pecans, so expect it! Strong malt profile – caramel is pronounced. Biscuit, nuts. Nice and not too aggressive.
