Restaurant’s Beer Sign Found Not So Funny

The above sign caught the wrong kind of attention for a Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square restaurant.  

This week, Smith’s Restaurant and Lounge displayed a chalkboard with the phrase –   “I like my beer like I like my violence. Domestic.”  Apparently the sign was written by an employee who is a survivor of domestic violence.   Regardless of the story behind it, many women’s groups against domestic violence have spoken out against the sign.  [Philly.com]
