Red Hare Expands, Canning Line Update, & Newbies

Red Hare Brewing (Marietta, GA) just expanded capacity a little bit this year.  Two new fermenters were added a 40 barrel (1,240 gallons) & a 60 barrel (1,860 gallons.)  That’s a grand total of 3,100 gallons of beer fermenting each time they are full.

Red Hare will most likely be first brewery in Georgia to can their beer.   The canning line is on order, slated for delivery in June, 2012.  Cans of Long Day Lager should hit the streets in late July.

The newest creation by the brewery is already flowing in the tap room.  It’s a wheat ale brewed with pineapple juice.
