Odell’s Woodcut #7 is an Imperial Stout

It’s getting about that time for another addition to  Odell Brewing Co’s Woodcut series.  The above is the tentative Woodcut No. 07, Russian Imperial Stout. Just like the others, this 12.5% imperial stout is aged in oak.Official announcement to come from the brewery.

Darkness has eclipsed the Woodcut Series for the 7th Offering. A Russian Imperial Stout. The thick and hearty brew boasts a rich chocolate malt flavor with a touch of roasted coffee character. The bold base is enhanced by hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and oak from the new barrels. Each Woodcut offering is a truly limited edition beer with a unique flavor that comes from select hops, fine malted barley, and aour brewers’ careful aging process. Enjoy.
