Two years ago, Left Hand Brewing became the first craft brewery in the United States with a widget-less nitro milk stout in a bottle. Today they just upped the ante. Alongside Nitro Milk Stout, Left Hand Sawtooth Ale and Wake Up Dead join the fleet.
Chris Lennert, VP of Operations:
The MSN six pack has been a solid success – we had every reason to create a similar offering for Sawtooth Nitro and Wake Up Dead Nitro.” Similar to the classic CO2 originals, Sawtooth Nitro portrays nutty malt flavors balanced by herbal hops while Wake Up Dead Nitro reveals a trifecta of cocoa, dried fruit, & licorice flavors. Pouring hard out of a bottle, all 3 Nitro beers begin with a beautiful cascade and finish with a thick creamy head, crafting a super smooth experience.
Milk Stout and Sawtooth Ale will be available year round in nitro bottles. Wake Up Dead will be a release 3x a year. Colorado will see these bottles first, then rest of Left Hand’s markets will see them in 2014.
Tonight at the Great American Beer Festival, the new nitro bottles debut alongside the Milk Stout bottles. Also, the first round of Left Hand’s “Throwback” series of Jackman’s Pale Ale, Deep Cover Brown Ale, Munich Dark Lager, Dunkelweiss, and Motherlode Golden Ale. Look for these, plus five Fade to Black styles to hit all of Left Hand’s markets for a limited time.
Are they available in Denver now?
