In a move that has certainly broken my craft beer and N*Sync loving heart, Justin Timberlake has announced he is partnering with Bud Light Platinum and will serve as the brand’s creative director. “Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I’m doing,” says Timberlake.
He hopes to bring other musicians on board to boost brand recognition in the future. The partnership will kick off this weekend during the Grammy’s with a 60 second commercial featuring JT, the beer, and his new single Suit & Tie.

Sorry JT, your music is great but your choice of beer sucks. I used to drink Bud when I didn’t know what good beer was. Sorry to spoil your party but Bud platinum is not refined and discerning. As a huge fan of Mr. Bringing Sexy Back, I’m very sad that he went with ‘the man’ instead of supporting the craft movement. Sigh.
