James River Brewing Company out of Scottsville, VA has elected an Executive Committee and is expecting to go into commercial production next month. James River Brewing began as a weekend brewing experiment which lead to another and another and sharing these brews with friends. Eventually the idea to start James River Brewing Company was born. Part of the philosophy of this brewery is sustainable and organic. The waste water from the brewing process will be used to water a rooftop garden that will sit atop their sustainable green building.
