Highland Lost Cove American Pale Ale Arrives Mid-May

Highland Lost Cove American Pale Ale

For the first time since 2013, Asheville, North Carolina’s Highland Brewing is releasing a new seasonal. Highland Lost Cove American Pale Ale arrives in May.

Named for a ghost town on the Nolichucky River (on the NC/TN border), Highland Lost Cove got its start on the 3-barrel pilot system a while back. The brewery uses Cascade and Hallertau hops, along with pilsner malt to create a sessionable, warm weather offering.

“Lost Cove is a thirst quenching, fun, light, sessionable beer with grassy German hops and citrusy American hops. This beer is interesting, its backbone is pilsner malt from the American Midwest, and we fermented it with our house ale yeast, creating a unique spin on an American pale. I’m looking forward to drinking one in the Meadow!”

Highland Lost Cove releases in mid-May in 12oz bottles and draft in all of Highland’s markets.
