Grimm Brewery Gets A New Taproom

The problem of an overcrowded taproom is no more at Grimm Brewery starting today.  At 1pm, Grimm Brothers Brewhouse will open a brand new, larger, taproom and debut four new beers.  Before today, the taproom only sat 20 people and they were using make shift tables to try and accomodate more people.  The new 600 sq-ft tasting room will comfortably seat 50 people and will have 12 taps.  The bar is made from reclaimed items including an over 2,400 year old California Redwood Tree.

The grand opening will debut four new brews according to Grimm’s Russell Fruits.  There will be a brett bock, a barley wine, a Biere de garde, and a hefeweizen called The Griffin which will become a permanent addition to the Grimm Brothers Brewhouse line of beers.

The previous tasting room will be used as office space and storage for now, but will allow for brewhouse expansion in the future.  There is also a cold storage facility in the building with the new taproom.

What is up next for Grimm Brewery?  Starting in January, they will be bottling more of thier beers and expanding distribution to additional cities in Colorado.
