Deschutes Heads To Kansas

Starting in Mid-July, Deschutes will start selling Black Butte Porte and Mirror Pond Pale Ale in the land of Dorothy and corn -Kansas.  , starting July 16th.  The Bend, Oregon based brewery will work with various distributors throughout the state through the Kansas Craft Alliance.

“We always consider all of the variables when expanding to a new market, especially making sure that we have enough beer to meet the demand of our fans,” said Andy Tysler, sales director for the company. “We know that Kansas beer drinkers have been anxiously waiting since we launched in their neighboring state of Missouri. Now, we have the beer, we have a new market manager on board, and we’re working with some great distributors. Cheers to Kansas!”

Before 2012 is finished, Deschutes hopes to bring the Reserve Series and Bond Street Series, plus  Jubelale and Chainbreaker White IPA.  [PressRelease]
