Boulevard Brewing Adds Florida

Boulevard Brewing Co. (Kansas City, MO) will be moving into the Florida market in early October. Earlier last week, they signed an agreement with Brown Distributing (West Palm Beach, FL), who distributes to the entire state.

“We’ve been looking at Florida for quite a while,” said Steve Mills, Boulevard’s vice president of sales. “We’ve found the ideal partner in Brown Distributing, and look forward to sharing our beers with the rising tide of Florida craft beer enthusiasts.”

Year round beers like Unfiltered Wheat Beer and Pop-Up IPA, and the Smokestack Series, are to arrive in October with additional seasonals and limited releases hitting the market in the months to follow.

Boulevard beers can now be found in 48 States and D.C.

SweetWater Heads to Mississippi

SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, GA) will launch in the crooked letter state (aka The Magnolia State, aka The Hospitality State) this September.

The brewery cut the ribbon on their $19 million dollar expansion in 2012, starting with a 400 barrel brewhouse and added capacity. Since then, SweetWater has expanded their reach to across the southeast.

The brewery has inked a distribution deal with F&B Distributing covering Oxford; Mitchell Distributing covering Starkville; F.E.B. Distributing covering Gulfport and Biloxi; and Capital City Beverage covering Jackson and surrounding Central Mississippi.

SweetWater’s distribution now includes Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia and D.C.

Ohio will see the lineup in September as well.

New Holland Announces Four More Markets in August

New Holland Brewing is expanding their empire with the addition of more territories this month.

Beginning mid-August, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa will join New Holland’s 24 state territory for beer, and 17 state territory for spirits.


“We are inspired by our mission to contribute flavorful choices to the passionate and thirsty craft drinkers,” stated Fred Bueltmann, VP of Brand and Lifestyle.  “We feel connected to these markets for so many reasons, and have heard the call of demand for our beers and spirits. It’s clear there is a strong and growing craft scene, with passionate and dedicated people moving it forward”

Yuengling Follows Up Rhode Island with Connecticut

Yuengling will roll out their beer lineup to Connecticut in October. The intention was to the brewery to launch the state with Rhode Island in June, but opted to separate the states.

Hartford Distributors will distribute Yuengling’s lineup to Hartford, Tolland, and Middlesex counties.

Allagash to Return to Western New York

After a 5 year hiatus, Allagash Brewing is headed back to Western New York. TJ Sheehan and Tri-Valley Beverage will begin selling Allagash Beers on August 25, across 31 additional counties.

New Belgium Will Distribute to Kentucky Next Year

New Belgium Brewing (Ft. Collins, CO) is widening their quest to be in all 50 states with the addition of Kentucky in late 2015.

The brewery will be ship to 10 wholesalers once they open the Bluegrass State, their 38th state of distribution.

We’ve been starting the distributor selection process earlier than in the past,” said New Belgium Brewing’s Sales Co-Pilot, Brian Krueger.  “This allows us plenty of time for planning so that we can really hit the ground running when we open these new territories. Kentucky has been on the horizon for a while now so we’re excited to be moving on to the next stage.”

The 10 distributors include:
