Odell Zard-Alu Sour Apricot releases May 27th

Odell Zard-Alu Sour Apricot is on deck by the Colorado based brewery.

Love fruited sours? Odell Zard-Alu Sour Apricot is a fruit focused sour, featuring a blend of Brettanomyces yeast, and Lactobacillus.

Apricots are thought to be native of the Persian territory, where they were commonly referred to as Zard-Alu. These precious stone fruits were so highly revered that they were often used a commodity in the markets. The stones were not to be wasted. Much like this brew. While peach and pear-like flavors mingle in the background, as Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus create the tie that binds all the components. The end result is a complex ale that is playfully sour, light, and refreshing.

Odell Zard-Alu Sour Apricot will be a 750 milliliter offering, available in the tap room starting May 27th/

Style: American Wild/Sour Ale (w/ Apricots)

Heavy Seas Partner Ships Hoppelbock, with Troegs

Heavy Seas Partner Ships Hoppelbock is the latest the brewery’s “Partner Ships” Series in 2016. The first release was with Maine Beer Co.

Heavy Seas Partner Ships Hoppelbock is brewed with Hershey, Pennsylvania’s Troegs Independent Brewing. This aggressively hopped doppelbock earned it’s new name, Hoppelbock. Between beers like Troegs Nugget Nectar, and Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, the extra hops make perfect sense.

We’ve added copious amounts of spicy, floral German hops to a ready, rich malt base to create this expression of regional collaborative ingenuity. Employing a generous dose of locally malted barley and massive dry-hopping, this lager can only be categorized as a “Hoppelbock”.

Heavy Seas Partner Ships Hoppelbock is now a 22 ounce bottle, and draft release.

Style: Doppelbock
Availability: 22oz Bottles, Draft.
Debut: May, 2016

Victory Cage Radler debuts May 1st

Victory Cage Radler will join the Downingtown, Pennsylvania based brewery’s lineup on May 1st.

For those a little unfamiliar, the word radler is German for “cyclist”. As beer history mentions – in 1922 Franz Xaver Kugler, owner of a Bavarian beerhaus, was running low on beer, with a bar full of 1,000’s of thirsty cyclists. In a pinch, he blended lemon-lime soda (which wasn’t selling anyway because his customers just wanted to drink) and dunkel lager, creating the radler beer, or shandy.

A shandy is a 50/50 mix of beer and lemonade. In the case of Victory Cage Radler, the brewery uses a light lager to blend with lemon extract.

The resulting beer is 3% alcohol by volume, perfect for your demanding cyclist guests, or just to drink on a hot day.

Victory Cage Radler will be available in 12 ounce bottles (in the variety pack) and 12 ounce cans.

Style: Radler (w/ Lemon)
Availability: 12oz Bottles, 12oz Cans, Draft.
Release: 5/1/16
