Tin Roof Gose with the Flow debuts today

Tin Roof Gose with the Flow debuts today, with bottles hitting shelves by July. This is a completely new beer by the Louisiana based brewery.

Typical of the nose style (which is on fire in the U.S. these days), Tin Roof Gose with the Flow uses coriander and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt in the brewing process. Lactic bacteria and ale yeast create the tartness. The result is a great heat-beating beer.

This is our take on an old German beer that was almost extinct. We used a mix of wheat and barley, spiced it up with Coriander and Himalayan Pink Salt and finally fermented with both yeast and lactic bacteria. The result is a smooth flavor with almost no bitterness and a slight sour spiciness, followed by citrusy zest. The finish is crisp and dry with a mouth puckering sensation. Enjoy this very refreshing brew after mowing the yard or a day at the beach.

Tin Roof Gose with the Flow will be a 22 ounce bottle and draft offering starting in July, 2016.

Style: Gose (w/ Sea Salt, Coriander)
Hops: Saaz, Liberty
Malts: Wheat, 2-Row, Pilsner

Availability: 22oz Bottles, Draft.
Release: 6/24/2016

Terrapin All American Oat Pale Ale debuts in July

Terrapin All American Oat Pale Ale debuts in July, replacing All American Pilsner.

In the past, the Athens, Georgia based brewery released the aforementioned pilsner on election years. Terrapin’s Dustin Watts tells Beer Street Journal that Sound Czech’s return to cans has been very successful, and bringing another pilsner into the fold didn’t make sense.

Terrapin All American Oat Pale Ale will fill that void starting July 2nd. This very hoppy pale ale that is a collaboration with three of the brewery’s favorite malt and hop producers, including Briess, Epiphany Craft Malt, and Roy Farms.

This election year, Terrapin introduces our “All American Oat Pale Ale, a farm collaboration with three of our beloved malt and hop suppliers.

Terrapin All American Oat Pale Ale will be available in 22 ounce bottles and draft. Distribution to all markets starting the first week of July. Drink as fresh as possible. You’ll thank me.

Ninkasi N10 celebrates 10 years with a big blend

Ninkasi N10 celebrates the Eugene, Oregon brewery’s 10th Anniversary. You’ll be quite impressed with the blend.

Instead of making a whole new beer to cross the 10 year mark, the brewery is blending some of their more epic offerings. Ninkasi N10 breaks down like so:

  • Imperial Stout, 50% of final blend
Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 10% of final blend
Imperial Total Domination IPA, 12.5% of final blend
Imperial Maiden the Shade IPA, 12.5% of final blend
Critical Hit Barleywine, 15% of final blend

The result looks to be a boozy, blend of two IPAs that are the cornerstone of much of the Ninkasi’s hoppy style, a touch of caramel from the barleywine, and chocolate and roasty notes from the imperial stouts. A fun way to celebrate indeed.

Ninkasi N10 will be available in July, in 22 ounce bottles.

Style: American Strong Ale
Availability: 22oz Bottles. Limited release.
Debut: July, 2016

10% ABV, 100 IBUs
