Victory Launches New Rotating IPA Series

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) embarks on a new hop forward series this month called Moving Parts, The Ever Evolving IPA.

Each release will tweak hops, malts, and even yeast to create an endless array of new IPAs. Moving Parts Batch 01 will focus on American, English and Czech hop varieties, along with German malts.

“Just as a single bold stroke or change of rhythm can take art in an exciting new direction, subtle recipe shifts in a craft beer can produce profound flavor changes. Some may feel such complexities are problematic to approach. We disagree. We have a penchant for prolific experimentation and Moving Parts embodies that creative spirit with gusto, resulting in a new end result every four months,” said Victory’s President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski.

Expect a new Victory Moving Parts IPA around every four months in 22oz bombers and draft.

Victory Is Bottling A New Imperial IPA

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) has affinity for hops. The brewery recently retired Hop Wallop in lieu of new Dirt Wolf.

Now take a look at Hop Ranch, an imperial IPA. that has been seen on tap recently.  The beer is a testament to the hop farmers of the world (especially here in the U.S. where we grow some of the best). DIrt Wolf honors the hops, Hop Ranch honors the farmers that get those juicy, bitter, fruity hops in your glass year after year.

A few different iterations of Hop Ranch have shipped. It seems the brewery has decided on a final recipe to bottle. No release date yet.

Victory DirtWolf Honors American Hops

Victory DirtWolf Double IPA

It’s a comeback baby! American hops have become the envy of the world. From floral, tropical, piney, to just plain out aggressive, American hops are to craft brewing what hotdogs are to baseball. Victory Brewing Co’s DirtWolf you see above gives those hops a high five. A tribute to the ‘wolf among sheep’ that rise from the ground almost as fast as you plant them, no imperial IPA is complete without them.

This nearly 9% creation uses whole flower, right off the vine hops. Release date to follow. Also, be on the look out for Winter Cheers, coming (presumably) this fall.

Darkly heroic, Humulus Lupulus (hops) have empowered brews with bite and character since the 11th century.DirtWolf is a tribute to these untamed vines which rise from the earth with the voracity of a ‘wolf among sheep.’ Hops have made an assertive comeback in American craft brewing. Revel in the best US varieties of hops, in their natural, whole flower form, as they bring a vital, pungent reality to the soul of a wild element in our I dangerously satisfying DirtWolf.
