Stone Brewing Announces Alberta & British Columbia

Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, CA) has announced distribution to Canada, specifically Alberta and British Columbia. The brewery has signed a deal distribution deal with Horizon Beers.

“It’s awesome to be able to bring Stone beer to many of our long-awaiting Canadian fans,” said Stone Vice President of Sales Todd Karnig. “We chose Horizon Beers because they believe in providing craft beer fans with quality beers at the peak of freshness—something that is extremely important to Stone. Canadians are ready for Stone, and we feel privileged to contribute to the country’s prospering craft beer scene.”

Initial offerings include (in their own words) :

  • Stone IPA – the world’s classic West-Coast style IPA
  • Stone Go To IPA – a big-character session IPA
  • Stone Ruination IPA – a hugely flavorful and bitter double IPA
  • Stone Cali-Belgique IPA – a unique and aromatic Belgian IPA
  • Stone Smoked Porter – a rich porter with light smoky overtones
  • Arrogant Bastard Ale – the groundbreaking one and only!

The two Canadian provinces join 40 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico in their distribution footprint.

Stone Groundbreaking Collab: Stone & Maui Brewing

Stone Brewing Co. just opened another “Ground Breaking Collaboration,” this time with Hawaii’s Maui Brewing.

The beer is called Aloha Berlin!The 1.5 liter bottle runs $30 dollars, and has to be picked up in Escondido, California, Berlin, Germany, or the yet-to-be named east coast brewery.

Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, CA) made craft beer headlines today, with the announcement of a new brewery build in Berlin, Germany. The build will cost $25 million dollars.The brewery has started an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign, where for $50 dollars you can purchase a 1.5 liter bottle from a special, very limited, Stone Groundbreaking Collaboration Series.

Contributors spending $50 dollars can opt for Stone Super Duper Arrogant, a strong ale that revisits a collaboration between Stone and Birrificio Le Baladin of Italy

If you choose to purchase a bottle, it must be picked up at either Stone in Escondido, California, or Berlin, Germany. Release date to be announced.

Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, CA) made craft beer headlines today, with the announcement of a new brewery build in Berlin, Germany. The build will cost $25 million dollars.The brewery has started an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign, where for $50 dollars you can purchase a 1.5 liter bottle from a special, very limited, Stone Groundbreaking Collaboration Series.

Drop $50 on the build, you can choose Stone Imperial Royal Imperial Saison du BUFF, an “uber” version of the saison brewed with Victory Brewing (Downingtown, PA) and Dogfish Head (Milton, DE)

If you choose to purchase a bottle, it must be picked up at either Stone in Escondido, California, or Berlin, Germany. Release date to be announced.
