Got Tickets? To the Monday Night Gun Show…

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) will follow up their recent Bed Head Coffee IPA release with a new Belgian-style offering, Gun Show.

Those local to Atlanta have probably noticed that Gun Show, and it’s various iterations, have already been on tap at the brewery for a little while. Monday Night Gun Show is a Belgian-style golden ale, brewed with honey and pears. Take it from us who have already had it. It’s crazy good, and sneaky. You don’t know you’re drinking an 8% beer.

When was the last time you hit the gym? Do you even lift, bro? This is a beer you need to work for. A rich gold in color, like the weightlifting medal you wished you’d won, this spicy Belgian-style golden ale has been infused with pears. Be warned – the residual sugars, while deliciously reminiscent of fresh honey, mean that you should only drink this beer on your cheat day. So get back to the gym and work it, bro. I bet I can bench more than you. Let’s go.

Look for Monday Night Gun Show in 22oz bombers, and draft for a limited time.

Style: Belgian-style Strong Ale (w/ Honey, Pears)
Availability: 22oz Bombers, Draft.
Arrival: TBA

8% ABV

Monday Night Brewing Back at Turner Field

A little while ago, there was some confusion, misunderstandings, surrounding SweetWater Brewing’s sponsorship deal at Turner Field. If you want to catch up on it, check out the run down.

As an update to the previous story, Monday Night Brewing’s FuMan Brew is not only back at Turner Field, but being sold AT the SweetWater Kiosk at the front of the stadium.

Aramark told Beer Street Journal in April that they were trying scale back the sales of glass bottles, and 16oz cans (both craft and macro) were preferable. Apparently the demand for more craft beer options has prompted concessions company to open the door to some “craft” glass.

Aramark works with local distributors for tap and bottle placements in Turner Field.

Monday Night Debuts Nerd Alert! Today

Monday Night Brewing’s (Atlanta, GA) debuts a new year round 12oz bottle Nerd Alert Pseudo Pilsner, today. Pseudo? The Monday Night brew crew describes this a pilsner-y ale. Read on and get nerdy.

Technically speaking, Nerd Alert is an ale. And if you want to get reeealIlly technical, we fermented this beer with ale yeast at low temperatures to achieve an incredibly clean flavor. However, if you bring up this knowledge in normal circles, you will, in fact, be labeled a nerd. So just enjoy the straw-blond appearance (Like the hair of the girl the nerd could never get) and the crisp, safe essence (like the nerd’s comic book room).

Nerd Alert will join Drafty KitEye Patch IPA,  and FuMan Brew in 12oz bottles.

Style: Pilsner
Hops: Hallertau, Willamette
Malts: Munich, Pilsner

Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft
Arrival: May 19, 2014

5% ABV

Monday Night’s Coffee IPA Headed to Black Tie Bottles

Up next in Monday Night Brewing’s (Atlanta, GA) Black Tie Series is a beer that the brewery has been working on for a while now.

Fans of the brewery have tasted early editions of this future bottle release, Eye Patch Ale brewed with Atlanta’s Batdorf and Bronson coffee. Kegs and casks of this small batch beer were tasty, and disappeared quick.

Monday Night is upgrading this hops-meet-coffee offering for the Black Tie Series – Bed Head Coffee IPA. Batdorf & Bronson brewed up a very special Tanzania Peaberry blend for this release.

That tousled, fizzy hairstyle isn’t fooling anyone. You woke up, threw on some clothes, and headed out the door. Your coworkers start at your bed head and snicker, but you embrace it, grinning smugly as you sip on your morning coffee.

Unfortunately, we don’t make coffee, we make beer. So we turned our local coffee roaster Batdorf & Bronson, to roast us up something special. A limited batch of Tanzania peaberry an earthy, single estate coffee that is the perfect match for a veritable mound of hops. Coffee isn’t just for breakfast. And beer isn’t just for non-breakfast. Wear that bed head proudly.

Look for Monday Night Bed Head Coffee IPA in 22oz bottles.

Style: Imperial IPA (w/ Coffee)
Availability: 22oz Bottles
Arrival: TBA

 8.4% ABV
