Tonight the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup. When the champagne ran out, they were actually drinking these Bud Light Stanley Cup Champions aluminum bottles. I even saw bud being poured into Lord Stanley’s Cup. You’ll see these on shelves soon. Especially around Boston.
What beer would you pour into the cup?

Mary, I contacted a Bud rep. The bottles have already been produced in small batch (in case of the Bruins win) and more on the way. Boston area first. I’ll probably get an email about them on Monday… (GO BRUINS!) And that says a lot from a Flyers fan 😉

Guess what? I live in Van and actually have access to some of the actual Budlight Bottles that were in the dressing room post game 7! I know a guy, who was a friend’s with a guy who worked there and cleaned up the room after wards. Only 10 cases were made specifically for the championship dressing room party. I envision who might have drank for the bottles i bought. If it was poured into the Cup.
