Avondale Brewing (Birmingham, AL) will be releasing their first bottles in 2013. Slated for release this year is Spring Kriek Saison, brewed with cherries. This kriek (funky Belgian style tart/sour beer) is a take on their year round Spring Street Saison.
The Spring Kriek Saison is a malt beverage with cherries added: a unique twist on our flagship brew, the Spring Street Saison. The Saison is brewed with our proprietary house yeast, a 4 malt blend and traditional Slovenian hops. Our special brewing process along with the combination of the finest ingredients creates a refreshing and satisfying brew with no equal. True to style this unfiltered ale has a coppery golden color with a slight red hue and a rich malty backbone that you’re sure to fall in love with
