Abita 25th Delayed Until September

Abita Brewing’s 25th Anniversary beer was slated for a June 2011 release.   Bottle supplier issues have pushed the beer back to September.   25th Anniversary is a double Turbo Dog with vanilla beans.

Turbo dog is the inspiration for this robust dark ale with rich flavors of chocolate, toffee, and vanilla.  It is brewed with generous amounts of pale, caramel, and chocolate malts, and Willamette hops.  Whole natural vanilla beans are added during the aging process.

25 years ago, Abita Brewing was founded on a pristine artesian aquifer north of New Orleans.  For a quarter of a century, Abita has proudly brewed full-flavored ales and lagers.  We thank our loyal customers for their support and pledge to continue the tradition of brewing excellence.

  1. Damn, was looking forward to this.  This plus the Vanilla Gorilla from Red Brick is going to make it a vanilla fall.
