A new one for New Belgium Brewing’ s Lips Of Faith series – “Prickly Passion Saison”. The saison makes use of a French yeast, and prickly pear fruit and passion fruit. The prickly pear (seen below) grows on a cactus, with a flavor described somewhere between bubblegum and watermelon. Widmer featured it in their Prickly Pear Braggot a little over a year ago.
