It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Troegs revealed today via Twitter that they would be brewing their first batch of Mad Elf of the season at the newly opened Hershey facility tomorrow.
Mad Elf is a big 11% ABV, cherry filled, belgian strong dark ale that graces us with its presence each holiday season. It is brewed with Pennsylvania honey, west coast cherries, belgian spicy yeast, Saaz and Hallertau hops, and Pilsner, Munich, & Chocolate maltsOh yeah, and check out Chris and John Trogner working on the hickory bar in the new tasting room in Hershey above!
