Victory Blood Orange IPA is on deck for the Pennsylvania based brewery.
Blood Orange and touch of agave syrup are the stars of this forthcoming India pale ale. The brewery previously released an IPA brewed with agave in their Blackboard Series.
This rose-colored IPA explodes with citrus aromas, flavors of blood orange, and smooth maltiness.
Victory Blood Orange IPA will be available in 12-ounce bottles and draft. The brewery has not yet announced this release.
Victory Blackboard Series Agave IPA is not only a new beer, but also a new series from the Downingtown, Pennsylvania brewery.
Brewed with agave syrup, along with grapefruit juice, and most certainly bright, citrusy hops, this new IPA should be fun for your tongue. (Pardon the potentially dirty statement). The brewery confirms this new beer launches on January 1, 2016.
Fresh, crisp, and clean, this ale offers bold and refreshing flavors. Touched with agave syrup, and grapefruit juice, this brew boasts great hop aroma and light citric bite.
Victory Blackboard Series Agave IPA will be the first release the Blackboard Series in 2016, available until March. Then, Victory Dry-Hopped Brett Pils will follow in the series.

The Unknown Brewing Company (Charlotte, NC) is releasing a follow up to to the very recent Vehopcirator Imperial IPA. This name is much longer than the first – La Jordana del Escorpion en Fuego Hacia la casa del Chupacabra muerto.
This roughly translates to “The Path of the Fiery Scorpion through the House of the Dead Chupacabra”. Shortening it to Escorpion en Fuego, the beer is an imperial Mexican lager, with agave nectar, seranno peppers, and aged on tequila oak staves. Oh, just in case that wasn’t enough, 99 (food grade) scorpions.
When asked if these scorpions would affect the flavor, head brewer and owner Brad Shell responded “I’m not sure, that’s not the point. The point is this beer needs scorpions. Some things just have to happen”.
Unknown Brewing Escorpion en Fuego releases on The Day of the Day, November 1st in 22oz bombers and draft.

Muerto Viviente is a Belgian strong dark ale that spent three months in the tequila barrels with agave nectar and pink peppercorn.
Big Boss Muerto Viviente is draft only.

The Lost Abbey (San Marcos, CA) is releasing a new offering in their barrel-aged portfolio, Agave Maria Ale.
Agave Maria is a strong ale brewed with agave nectar, and then aged in both Anejo and Reposado barrels for 10 months.
Agave Maria has hints of black pepper, sweet sugar, oatmeal, and oak with an earthy, bitter smoked chocolate on the finish. The base beer, a new Agave strong ale, was created specifically to pair with the spiciness of the Tequila, adding a sweet honey-like quality to the beer.
The artwork was created Sean Dominguez, the brewery’s resident artist. Lost Abbey Agave Maria Ale will be packaged in 375ml corked and caged bottles, and distributed across the brewery’s entire distribution network. Agave Maria will be a spring seasonal after this first release.
