A new single hop rye pale ale from Westbrook Brewing Co. The pale ale features rye malt, and the Pacific Jade hop. The series has seen one more in the series – a citra hopped rye pale ale. The citra hop is a little hard to come by, so Pacific Jade is stepping up to the plate.
Our single-hop rye pale ales are created to showcase the flavor and aroma characteristics of individual hop varieties. The grain recipe is kept the same and only the type of hop is changed from batch to batch. Pacific Jade is a relatively new hop from New Zealand that exhibits a bold citrus and black pepper aroma with a soft bitterness.
