In the space where Philadelphia’s beloved Spectrum once stood (may it rest in peace) there will be a brand new sports/dining/entertainment complex built next year. For those of you not familiar with the area, this will be right in the middle of all of Philadelphia’s sports complexes – Lincoln Financial Field, Wells Fargo Center, and Citizen’s Bank Park. When the plans were unveiled last week it was announced that Victory Brewing Company would be among the restaurants built at Xfinity Live! to be built in the first phase. The Victory Beer Hall will offer beers and entertainment with beer hall style tables, a stage for live entertainment, and a 2,000 square foot patio with a fire pit and view of the Philly skyline. The beer hall will feature not only Victory brews, but also other local brews and some national brands as well. Philadelphians will now have Victory a little closer to home than they used to. The Grand Opening is set for April 5, 2012.
