This is Cigar City Brewing‘s Batch #5 of 110K + OT. A massive 11% ABV Strong Ale (that’s a style judgement call) brewed with curacao peel. (That’s fancy for oranges.) The brewery calls it like this.
The result is an incredibly hoppy citrusy bomb, but warming in the finish. Double IPA? Hoppy barley wine? Whatever it is, it’s pretty awesome.
